That's from an 'alternate vendor' who decided that he was going to try to sell this thing for $149 for some reason.

Going rate is about $20 for the unit itself. The unit this poster is selling on these forums is still a great deal though, since it includes 3 cartridges, all for $12...

Long story short, when looking up prices on Amazon, beware of some vendors who sell through Amazon who's prices are sometimes extremely ridiculous, especially during the holidays.

If I recall correctly we paid at least $25 for the unit and at least $12 per game so it definitely is a good buy. However, the unit is about 5 years old and we are just cleaning closets and making room so time to part with it. It is still in great shape and a good item for 1-4? year olds but my children are older now and no longer interested in it. Thank you.
