    Hi,
Does anyone have a men's bike that you would like to get rid of?
I am planning to buy one and thought it would be better to try one for a while before buying.

    Thanks.

What kind are you interested in - road or mountain or hybrid... or does it matter? Are you willing to take a bike that would need some basic repair? And last question, how tall are you and what is your inseam?

I have a road bike that I would be happy to part with... just trying to see if it could work for you.

My fiance has been trying to get me to ride with her for 2 years now. I am 6'1". How much are you looking to get for it?

I have a Road bike (sorry Hershey) that would be perfect for your height. If you are looking to just ride on the bike path and street then this would work just fine (no off-road).

It is in good shape - and my guess will need new pedals, chain, a tune-up and possibly new tires... since they have not been used in about 3 years.

I would be willing to part with it for $30 if you are just looking for something to get started with. And my wild guess would be that you need about $100 in repairs (really depends on parts you pick).

I am still at work (unfortunately) but I found a picture that is similar.... and the bike I have has the name "Centurion". May mean something to some people out there, as there is a cult following for these bikes.... part of the Greg LeMond series. Anyway, here is a picture that should give you an idea (red and white color scheme).. It is the Centurion "Dave Scott" Ironman, Expert model.

I would love to take a look at it. I can come by anytime this week. I live the good life as a teacher so I am free during the day. If the evenings work best that is fine too. Thanks again...
