We are looking for a place to buy a Cherry Changing Table with drawers and a Cherry crib. The stuff that we have seen is mostly made up with internal particle board (MDF) and we would like solid wood for a reasonable price.

Ideally we would like a crib that can be converted into a twin bed and a changing table that will allow you to add a hutch/bookcase.

Any recommendations as to where to look? Already checked out babies-r-us but nothing stuck out or it was MDF.

Depending on what you mean by reasonable price... We went Great Beginnings in Gaithersburg (http://www.childrensfurniture.com/) to buy our baby stuff. I don't know that there are many solid wood cribs for less than $500 or $600, but they have a huge selection of baby furniture and can give you an idea of what is out there.
