Loudoun Chorale Invites You to Come! Sing! Celebrate!

Do you enjoy singing? Did you sing in a high school or college choir, or perhaps you sing with a church choir or worship team? Looking for more opportunities to sing beautiful and challenging choral music?

The Loudoun Chorale begins rehearsals for its new season this Sunday, Aug. 19, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 605 W. Market St., Leesburg. (Our normal rehearsal time is 6 to 8 p.m.; we just need a bit of a head start this Sunday.)

Auditions are not required and new members are welcome to attend a rehearsal without commitment now through Sept. 9. Dues are $50 per person or $75 per couple and music usually runs around $20.

We'll be performing at the Waterford Fair on Oct. 6, at a winter concert on Dec. 2 and at the Holiday Tree LIghting in Leesburg on Dec. 7. Selections for the Dec. 2 concert include John Rutter's Magnificat and the Hallelujah Chorus. (We did Messiah last year.) We'll also be doing a concert in the spring.
