We've been to Great Country Farms many times and enjoyed it. They have pick your own fields, a general store, farm animals, and many things for kids to play on.

Hill High is good but simple. They have great pies and also serve sandwiches. It's actually on the way to Great Country Farms.

Heritage Farm Museum is small but fun for little kids (I'd say under 8).

Temple Hall is fun during their fall festival. Animals, a playground, and fun things for the kids. They also have the big hay maze.

Not part of the Loudoun farms, but we went to Marker Miller Orchards last weekend, it's free to get in and we had a blast, apple picking, huge play area for the kids, a nice (yet very overpriced) bbq lunch. Great country store with apple cider donuts. It was just beautiful.

We went to Temple Hall a couple weekends ago and had fun. The corn maze is HUGE and took us awhile to find our way out of. There are pony rides, moon bounces, a huge sandbox that is filled with corn (6 year old LOVED that!), lots of animals to see (can't feed them), a horse drawn carriage ride and also a hayride to the pumpkin patch.

Great Country is also nice. You can feed the animals, huge bouncy "bed", hayrides, etc.

Are any of these places open to leashed dogs? We would love to find places we all can go.

This wasn't on your list, but our family went to Pumpkinville yesterday and had a great time. It's $8/ person during the week and $12/person on the weekends. It's where the Leesburg Animal Park is off of Hwy 15. I don't think they allow dogs.

They had moon bounces, a zip line, slides, the animal park, face painting and more.

Don't know the policies, but I saw many people with dogs at Great Country Farms this past weekend. When you're there, be sure to stop across the street at Bluemont Vineyards - owned by the same folks. The view is INCREDIBLE.

That sounds great. A few years ago we went on a hot air balloon ride. I think I would enjoy watching them from the ground. :)
