As I've said in the past, the Broadlands HH's should be held in Broadlands.
If Lee wants to have a party and invite all of us here, that's fine!

T8 and Cliff has anyone thought that maybe the center of the universe is not the broadlands for business to your retail and restaurants. Have you thought that I may get many of the broadlands restaurants to represent themselves in a neutral place such as my home, so they can expand their horizons a bit in a fun setting.

I agree that Broadlands Forums Happy Hours should be held in Broadlands, and support our local businesses.

Sorry Lee, but if you decide to have a HH at your place, that's great, but I won't be present. I don't care how much you claim you can make it worthwhile for Broadlands businesses.

And for you to come here to our forums and spurt out a comment like your last one, well, I find that insulting. Have your party; I won't be there.

FUNNY you said that!!! I was thinking the next big halloween party should be Rocky Horror Picutre Show style, but with PULP FICTION as the movie!!! How many of us can quote lines for that movie without a second thought?!? and so many great character to dress up as-- THAT would be fun.

    FINAL DETAILS!!!

March 14 starting at 5:30 PM at SW Plaza. We will stick to SW for the first bar-crawl to see how it goes.

We will start at Callalou and work our way down to Glory Days. We can be flexible if needed! ;)

I will see what I can work out with each place for discounts and/or freebies.

T8 and Linux and Cliff. I am not trying to make waves here just thought it would be a nice idea. So don't worry I will not connect it to the broadlands. If you want to come stop by if not no big deal. :) I will certainly enjoy myself at your next happy hour. In the words that became famous from Rodney King during the LA riots " Can't we all get along""

Yes I lived there during those riots and the big earthquake and the fires and the mudslides. then again who cares. And I do apologize to anyone that has taken my comments wrong. Yes right now there is going to be a movie party april 12th that has nothing to do with the broadlands HH . Now does that make some of you feel better:):)

there are PLENTY of parties, get togethers, tet a tets, b*(ch fests that we can plan OUTSIDE of a broadlands happy hour! I have come around to the side of believing OUR HH shoudl stay in OUR neighbirhood. but as an example. I am doing an Entreevous event with a Brambleton group, I am going to a potluck with some DC foodies- so there's no need to hichjack a Broadlands event Lee- create one!

OOH- I got it- the Flex Free Fest!!! lol

let's lighten this back up or NO ONE new will come to HH- they will think it's a bunch of old white guys complaining about hosptials and lawns. LAdies and non old white men- I PROMISE you BHOA Forum HH is anything but!!!! come and see for yourself!!!

I could quote Rocky Horror till the cows come home, but Pulp Fiction? Nope. Didn't see it.

With you Lee, no, I no longer think it's possible. When you start insinuating conspiracies where the Dulles District Supervisor is having secret discussions with me before a vote, something you have absolutely nothing to back it up, and is completely and utterly false, I no longer have any use for you.
I don't mind debate, I don't mind opposing points of view, but when you turn it into ugly rumors and accusations for your own personal amusement, I'm done.
