Loudoun County Master Gardeners serve citizens of Loudoun County by volunteering their time to educate the public in horticulture matters. They assist the County Cooperative Extension office by providing research-based horticulture information, education, and plant diagnostic services to the general public. They instruct neighbors and groups on proper care of lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, fruits, and vegetables. They promote safe use of pesticides and fertilizers to protect water quality and the environment. They conduct gardening programs for diverse groups within the community. They maintain an organic Demonstration and Teaching Garden at Ida Lee Park.
