I believe this place would be a shorter trip than Warrenton for a weekend Mexican fix.

Carolina's? OMG I think that is the name.... hole in the wall but the best tortillas and food ever! A bunch of us used to go there for lunch all the time. I lived in PHX for over 5 years and while I agree that Macayo's is better than anything else available to us here - there were many others places in PHX even more authentic and less chain-like. So ironic because I would die for food like Macayo's in this area :)

I'm sure anyone who lives in PHX knows of other restaurants that are way better than Macayo's, but for us coming from this area, it tasted great!

I am actually glad you asked this question because there seems to be a TON of other Mexican places to visit for good food based upon everyone elses comments. Thanks. I'll keep you guys updated with the ones I try.

I also love Mexican food! My favorite is the mouth watering Burritos. The only Mexican restaurant I have ever been to is Mexicali. Now I wanted to give this Al Agave a try. Thanks for the tip guys.

We usually have family bring some to us in their suitcases when they come to visit. My parents have brought tamales and mini-chimis to me too. I wish I could order some of the food and have it packed in dry ice for shipping.
I'm in the process of looking at tickets for flying home this summer and I'm trying to get a flight that gets in at lunch time, so I can hit the Macayo's near the airport. I've joked with the kids that we'll be eating just about every meal there, so Mommy can get her Mexican food fix.

Mexican foods are really delicious..How i wish i could buy those like they usually have for my family..mexican
