Hi- I am moving to the Broadlands next month and my husband and I are wondering what is the best service and value for cable, internet and phone. Our house is wired for DirectTV and my husband likes the idea of being able to order the sports packages (although it's not a deal breaker). We will be working out of our home part time and will need a good high speed internet provider along with phone service with an extra fax line. I would prefer not having 3 different service providers but I would like a good value and exceptional service. Any advice??

    Thank you in advance!!!

If you're in Broadlands north then the only option is Comcast. DirecTV may be a better deal for TV depending on your needs. Comcast also has some good offers right now if you want their TV service.

We will actually be in Overland Park. Does that make a difference?

It just means that you are on the North side of the community where there are more options. The people who live in what is considered Broadlands South (Claiborne south of Waxpool) are pre wired for Openband. Openband provides all the phone, internet and TV and though you can choose not to use them as a provider you still have to pay for the service. A lot of people here are not happy with the services they get from openband so they end up double paying which is where the comment from woopity came from.
