municipal government?

    On moving into Broadlands it never occurred to me to ask about the local government. Is there a municipal government in Ashburn or is the town run via Loudoun County? I ask b/c I'm trying to find out how to get permits and/or what is required to run some gas lines in my house (i.e convert some of my electric appliances to gas). I tried googling and it's not much help. Thanks!

    The county is the municipal government except for incorporated towns, like Leesburg. Ashburn is a community within the county. Take a look at www.loudoun.gov for all sorts of helpful information.
