Need Help! Needed: 2 Tivoli/Netcool Engineers

    Clearance: Top Secret (No poly or SCI required)

    Requirements:

    Must have extensive background in one or more of the following Network Management tools.

    IBM TIVOLI / HP openview / BMC / Mircosoft SMS /Computer Associates /Spectrum

    · Must have a solid foundation in network and/or performance management with real-world experience implementing various management solutions in heterogeneous network environments.

    · Must have solid background in scripting and programming languages including Perl, Shell Scripting, VBScript, HTML, CGI, PHP, or other.

    · An understanding of database management systems, and the integration thereof with the disparate systems of an enterprise is desired.

    · A solid understand of SNMP, Syslog, RMON, and other messaging and agent facilities is required.

    · Specialized experience in one of more of the following; Micromuse Netcool, HP Openview NNM, Aprisma Spectrum, or other network and performance management products is required.

    · Good verbal and written communications skills are a must. Our engineers are expected to be able to communicate clearly and with technical accuracy, design principles, and technical proposals.

    · Good understanding of industry standards and best practices i.e., Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), ITU-T Telecommunications Management Network (TMN), and others is desired.

    · A solid foundation in networking concepts, i.e., routing, switching, IP addressing, and Internet routing protocols, is desired.

    · A good understand of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology is desired
