    Thanks for the update, Tech.

I assume that since you have bolded "Wendy's" to draw attention to it, you are either:
    a) excited that Broadlands will finally have the full spectrum of restaurant choices, including the first (and only) restaurant offering a drive-thru; or
    b) upset, because we are "too good" to have a fast food restaurant like Wendy's in our community.

Personally, I'm voting for choice "a".

I can't believe that another pizza place is going in...I mean how many can Broadlands honestly support. One of them will eventually go under I would think.

If I had the money I would build an 80's arcade/hobby shop over there.

Boy! That was fast. Only two lease spaces left. Wonder if that means Phase III will start soon?

    Not sure we need it....

Also don't understand the need for another cell phone store. There is already a Cingular Wireless in the Food Lion shopping center. Can't believe that someone would open up another Pizza place to add to the two already in the Broadlands and all the other one (dine in and carryout) already throughout Ashburn. Glad to see Wendy's, now if we can just get a Chick-fil-A!!!!

I can never understand why we need so many duplicate businesses in each shopping center. I am glad to see that Quiznos is opening up a place in Broadlands!!! I personally can't see how another pizza place will survive.

I don't understand why anyone would go to a cell phone shop in the first place. You can get new phones/service through Amazon and usually wind up making a couple hundred dollars depending on the phone you buy. Nowadays, the only thing cell phone shops are good for are porting old numbers to new phones since they won't do that over the phone, but pretty much any other service related problem can be taken care of via the phone.

Because on amazon someone can't handle a phone, see how they like it physically, etc. Can't pickup a accessory on a momments notice, can't get their phone serviced, etc.

Yes, many things are easier handled online.. but you don't get the chance to try things, nor is everyone online all the time. A good portion of people still prefer B&M. I usually do a hybrid myself.. use the local store to 'try things' and then buy online

Thats why you go to the actual retail store of the carrier, not one of these 'authorized agents'. Most of these places are some cheesy two-bit place like 'Cell 4 Less! Inc' or some other name, they just have a big AT&T or T-Mobile sign out front that makes them look more credible. If I need service or something else, I'm going to go to one of the real retail stores rather than an independant 'Mobile Bargains' type place in a strip mall.

Its called ... survival of the fittest. I fully expect to see some of the local 'mom and pop' type of stores in that center close in the next 2 years.
