New Construction between Ashburn Village/Waxpool/Shellhorn?

I was just wondering if anyone knew what was going in across the street from Chipotle/Red Robin etc. On Waxpool I saw the sign that said "Broadlands Station" townhomes coming soon, but the massive building they're constructing now sure doesn't look like a townhome. Some sort of new community building?

No problems here, just curious if anyone had the scoop, since I drive by it every day.

That area will be apartments. I forget the name of the complex but there will be about 36 buildings.

Broadlands Station is on the south side of Waxpool between Camden Apartments and the bridge that goes over the Greenway.

 

Right, so the big building going up in "Broadlands Station" will be for apartments?

This shows the site plan. Broadlands Station hasn't started any building yet. They are still moving the dirt (for a lack of a better phrase). The construction can be seen off the Greenway between exits 6 and 5.
My guess on what the new building is would be a clubhouse/leasing office for Fairfield @ Flynn's Crossing.

 

There is no "big building", or any building for that matter, constructed yet at Broadlands Station. When they are constructed, they will be townhouses.
You are mixing together two different projects.
