The following are the new tenants at the Broadlands Village Shopping Center:

    Anytime Fitness
    Mazza Grill
    Puccio Deli
    Orchid Tai (restaurant)
    JW Tumbles
    Dragon Youg-In
    Zarou Maxican Restaurant

    Also... Sports Clips is RE-OPENING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By August you should see what it's like to experience a haircut at Sports Clips....I hear it includes a neck/shoulder massage!!!! AND to be able to watch whatever channel of sports you want!!! Some men may call it heaven! :)

if heaven included a 90 minute wait for a haircut, then yes it was certainly that. Sport Clips should improve thier practices like having enough people there to actually cut hair instead of making people wait a ridiculously long timea

Hubby said the "massage" wasn't anything to go there for either .... someone just rubbed one of those 3-legged things on his back for like 2 minutes, that was it.

Anyone heard of JW Tumbles before? First I've heard of it but sounds neat from website. I wonder if it is like Little Gym or Gymboree classes for little ones?

I am not able to pinpoint the exact time the new tenants will open. It is all on the tenant's time now. We have delivered all of the spaces to them and now all they need to do is complete their buildouts and tell us when they will be opening. As soon as I hear from them I will let you know.

Hi Julie. Thank you for the updates. So far its a great plaza.

    A few ideas...

    Smaller plats:

*A Dollar Tree might be a neat addition to the shopping plaza though I really think it has to be Dollar Tree...some of the other types of dollar stores are not nearly as nice?
    http://www.dollartree.com/

*Wild Birds Unlimited http://www.wbu.com/ Some neat stuff in there

    Larger sites:

*Would love to see Trader Joes in this area though maybe not permitted in same complex as Safeway?

*or how about Fazolis? (fast food Italian) http://www.fazolis.com/

*And still think Potbelly would be GREAT in the 321 Ashland spot---Yum!

I looked into fanchising one several years ago. Unforunately the company doesn't franchise. I believe they own every store. :(

I think several of us asked about the possibility of a Baja Fresh moving into the space of 321 Ashland... but someone today told me that Baja Fresh was moving into the Ashburn Farm shopping center in the new part they are building just down from Krikpatricks... anyone confirm this???

I noticed that the sign in front of the Broadlands Village Center now says, "100% Leased." Any news on new tenants?

I can assure you that Puccio's NY Deli will satisfy all your needs for a good quality meal. We will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Bagels from H&H in Manhattan, egg sandwiches, breakfast burritos, omelettes, muffins etc.. for breakfast. Lunch and dinner will include all of the classic sandwiches using Boar's Head Meats (http://www.myspace.com/pucciosnydeli) in addition with grilled items such as Burgers, Steak and CHeese, Chicken/Veal Parm, Sausage/Peppers, and your token fried items: French fries, onion rings, fried zucchini. Desserts will be more expansive as which will include NY cheesecake from Juniors in Brooklyn and of course cannoli's from Vaccaros. We will also deliver to a 4 mile radius. If you have any suggestions or questions feel free to call me.
    Ciao

Just a thought but you may want to consider opening an hour earlier Mon-Sat for the breakfast crowd. ALOT of folks are already on the road by 7AM.

You read my mind. Alot of people are gone by 7am -at least those that commute. The Starbucks is smart - they are open early enough to grab a coffee before I hit the road.
