Ok, after 3 years being their loyalty customer, I think they just lost another customer.
The service was horrible, the person who took my order was rude. She forgot to include my free food with over $30 purchase even after I requested when I placed my order. This is not even the first time they did that. Anyway, I had to drive back to pick up my food and not even receive an apology from them.
To make it worse, Asia Cafe messed up someone else's order, and had food delivering to my house. However, after we said it must be a wrong address because we already picked up our food from their place twice, we got several phone calls from them harashing us for not picking up the food. Instead of finding a valid customer who was waiting for their food, being rude and cursing at us just added up our frustrations.
When we complained about their service, and said they would lose customers if they kept being this way, their comments back to us was that they would not care!
Ok! should I make business with them for the future ? ... I don't think so!
I should have listened to others when people recommended other places such as Cafe Opera, Hunan and etc.

We stopped frequenting the place about 4 months ago. Their food quality has been going downhill for the past year, to the point where I just couldn't subject my family to it anymore. Also, I was able to take a peek into the kitchen while picking up food last time I was there and what I saw made me decide to never go there again. Add to that the last Virginia Department of Health inspection report on September 12, 2007: http://www.healthspace.ca/Clients/VDH/Loudoun/Loudoun_Website.nsf

Notice the many 'Critical' violations, including the Code 0110 infraction, which states:

So basically, they had someone working in the kitchen who was pretty ill, yet still handled food for customers.

Sorry, but there's no way I'm putting my family's health at risk by eating there...

We've been ordering from Cafe Opera and you can actually see/taste the freshness of the ingredients. The restaurant is clean and the staff is always welcoming and smiling.

I realized tonight that my link above pointed to the front page of the Food Inspection portal. You can get to the reports by clicking on Restaurant Inspections and then typing the name of the restaurant, in this case "Asia Cafe" and looking at the latest report.

If you just want to see the latest report from September 12, 2007, here's the direct link: http://www.healthspace.ca/Clients/V...y=97915814812527108525735900570A33&Count=1000

A while ago when I ordered take out from there I got home and realized they'd forgotten to give me the crispy noodles for my chow mein. What is chow mein without the NOODLES? Anyway, I didn't have time/energy to deal with it then, but I called them the next day because I wanted to come get my noodles to have with my leftovers. They gave me this speech about how their policy is that the customer is to call THAT NIGHT about any problems, but, *sigh* they'll be nice this ONE time and let me come get my noodles.

Huh? You have a statute of limitations on making the order right for your customers and you give them LIP when they call to ask you to fix it? Bah... that ticked me off.

Yeah... we don't go there any more either. Food quality has gone downhill. I do like the new Hunan place by H.T. Have only been twice, though.

That's exactly the "service" I got from them. The food is definitely going down-hill as well.
Well, if they don't need our business, we go somewhere else!
Also, with that health inspection report, no way I will go to that Asia Cafe again.
Thanks for sharing that with us.

My wife is a weichert agent (Next door to Asia Cafe) and they had a moth infestation and the smell of sewage in their offices due to poor conditions at the Asia Cafe. The moths evidently came out of the rice and the sewage was because the didn't correctly clean their grease traps.
We ALWAYS eat at Cafe Opera. The staff actually cares and the food is fresh.

Food quality went from plain old carappy...to completely carappy:screwy: Man, I always thought that they were the worst type of strip mall Chinese. 400 choices greasy, flavorless dishes that all had the appearance of well...something that had already visited someone's stomach. It only took me twice to realize that, and I have a REALLY THICK SKULL.:screwy:

We have a much better option in the Southern Walk section w/ Hunan. The good news the kitchen is open so you can watch them prepare, they are super friendly (learn to say hello and thank you in Chinese and get preferred treatment) and one evening i got late take out, they were scrubbing and cleansing the entire food prep area and floor. They do that every night.

I agree! I really like Hunan when I want just good ol' chinese delivery. They have been 10 minutes early every single time I've ordered.

Our family walked in there about a year ago to try it out. The place was a mess, no customers in the "restaurant" and just about every table still had leftover food and trays on them. The floor was filthy smf s couple of folks standing behind the counter not doing much. We turned around and walked right out. Based on this thread, sounds like we made a good decision - wasn't in the mood for moth rice!
