NOTICE FROM FORUM ADMINS: This posting is a JOKE by the original poster. Please do NOT contact the HOA office or HOA representatives regarding this, since it is simply an attempt at HUMOR and NOT FACTUAL. Once again, the posting is a JOKE. Thank you.

I received a letter from the HOA about my cars being parked in my driveway. They are requiring all SFH cars to be pulled into the garage or in a legal street spot- NO DRIVEWAY PARKING AT ALL. Is this new with the towing contract? Why on earth can't we park on our own driveways?

    Sunny,

The new HOA rule, as I understood it, applies only to ugly cars. If your car is not ugly, you may have received the notice in error.

    ;)

Sorry to be a buzzkill but...Trust me... it's no fun dealing with the irate residents who will fail to see this as a joke and be screaming their heads off at us in the office and on the phone!

The bigger question is why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways?

Wow...I wouldn't appreciate irate people calling the HOA offices and giving them hell over the phone. That isn't right in my book. This creates an undue and unneccessary burden on the HOA office personnel. Someone should apologize to the HOA office staff for having them being the butt of the jokes, which isn't funny at all.
