Wiggly Worms

Ages: 8 & 9 year olds
Time: 4:30p.m. - 5:30p.m.
Go on a worm walk and look for our friends . We will then make a worm bin to house these
critters. Please bring a small plastic tub from home and we will supply the rest.
Soil Sort
Date: Wednesday, November 5, 2008
Ages: 4 & 5 year olds
Time: 10:00a.m. - 11:001.m.
Like to play in the dirt? Find out why soil is so important. Sort through soil to discover what
soil contains .Make a soil collage. Please wear old clothes.
The Audubon Naturalist Society (ANS) shop visits the nature center!!!
Here’s your chance to eco shop!

All Ages Welcome
Time: 10:00a.m. - 4:00p.m.
Go green and do your holiday shopping early .The Audubon Sanctuary shop carries a good
selection of birdseed, birdfeeders, nest boxes, accessories, binoculars, books on Nature for
all ages, field guides to places around the world, gifts, children’s toys and games, t-shirts,
jewelry, notecards, and shade grown coffee. The proceeds will support education and
conservation programs at ANS as well as 15% going to the BHOA. For more information visit

“Nature Stories, Crafts and Songs”
(A Mommy, Me and Nature makes 3 program)

Come to the nature center with your little one. It’s never to early to expose them to the
wonders of nature.
Registration:
All programs listed above are $5.00 and will be held at the Nature Center unless otherwise stated. Please call or stop by the
Nature Center to register at least one day before the program is held. A minimum number of 3 participants is required or the
program will be cancelled. Please dress for the out of doors.
