The Nature Center has become nothing but a pretty building now. I suggest the board actually moves convert the center into to a "community" activity center. Maybe add some inexpensive ping pong tables, game tables or something of the sort to foster some semblance of community in Broadlands? Why do we have two expensive centers and the only activity provided is for paid rentals of the facilities?

Hi Tim, the building houses the association staff, which has expanded well beyond the capacity of what it was built to handle 20 years ago. Plans are underway to remodel the facility and expand the staffing space and possibly allow for a community meeting space. Since it is first and foremost a professional office, an activity center may not be an ideal mix due to noise. If the Hyde Park development winds up coming to fruition, that developer has plans for a larger facility that would include game tables for the community to use.
