Has anyone tried this yet? My sister and her husband went last weekend and were very disappointed. They said the food was really bland. She said they'd give it another shot sometime soon but wanted to know of any other opinions....

We've been a few times and have always found it to be very good. Sorry to hear that your experience wasn't as positive as ours.

it was only so-so in our opinion- while service was friendly enough, I wouldn't call it good, but I am sure it will improve- they DO try very hard. 4912 by Regal Cinema has much tastier food. Orchid is not bad though- if we need thai and don't feel like driving to Sterling- Orchid Thai will do.

I've found the carry out to be excellent. They will adjust how spicy you want the food. Great friendly service for the carry out. I've not been there for a sit down meal.

They were just okay for me. The food was not bad and it was not great. I ordered something pretty spicy and it was not. The drunken noodles, and Kapow were just alright.

I like the Thai place that is in the village so far it's my favorite for this area.

You don't need to drive to Sterling for Thai, just fyi, there are good places in the Shoppers and the Ashburn Village Giant shopping center.

The one by Shoppers, Tawan Thai, closed. Too bad, it was my favorite! It is now Tiger Cafe or something, is that Thai also?

We went last night and thought the food was pretty good (the modified the spice level for husband and sons so all were happy!), the service was good and the atmosphere was pretty nice as well. I would recommend it!

Went there for the first time today for lunch. The atmosphere is nice and the food was pretty good, large helpings for lunch at around $8.00 which is not bad. Service was pretty good. Glad to have a nice Thai restaurant close to home finally.

We had an Orchid Thai near us in IL before we moved here. Their green curry and basil chicken were outstanding; the first entree I mentioned was very spicy.
