Pictures with Santa, Dec 2 - NEED VOLUNTEERS

This Saturday, the Technology Committee will be taking photos at the Visit/Pictures with Santa event at the Nature Center from 9-12. Each year, we take pictures of the kids and send the photos home with them. In addition, the photos are available for download for a (VERY) limited time.

This year, we are very shorthanded. We need at least 2 volunteers to help with the photos. We're a very small committee and have some volunteers out of town this year.

If you would be willing to help out from about 8 am to 12:15 pm THIS Saturday, we could really use the help. Please email me if you are available. [dawne@holzfamily.net]

If we do not get a few volunteers, we may have to forego printing the photos at the event, and making them available for download only - or cancel the free photos by the tech committee (neither of which we REALLY don't want to do)

This is a really fun event, and the kids are incredibly cute....please consider donating a few hours to help with a community event.

What is the status on this - will photos still be made available - were you able to get any volunteers? In the past, this has been a great success and the volunteers have put alot of work into making this event fabulous. It beats the prices at the mall and the line any day.

Awesome Work!!! Lots of yummy munchies to make the line go a little faster The decorations were great, Santa was great- wonderful picture! Thanks to the Events committee and the tech committee and any other committee that pitched in to make this such a successful event. I loved seeing my neighbors and meeting new ones while we waited to see the man in red...

 

when do the pics get posted online. i checked just now, (12:30 saturday), and could not connect to the links on the sticker on the back of the printed photo we got.

 

Later on today or tomorrow. I think I can safely say that all of the volunteers are still at the Nature Center printing out pics.

 

We just got back from the NC and they were still there taking pictues when we left (12:55pm) As we were leaving the Tech Committee said that the pictures would be posted as of tomorrow. So check back again.

And I want to send out another great job to the Tech and events committee. Everything was great! Thank you for all your hard work.

We had a great time yesterday. Many thanks to all the volunteers for making it very special for us and our children.

 

I just wanted to say thank you to the Tech Committee, volunteers, and especially "Santa" for doing this every year. It does take much of your personal time and we appreciate it. And a special thanks to Santa who endured long hours in a sweaty suit and crying children. After my children had their picture taken, my daughter (who is potty trained but still has occasional accidents) proudly exclaimed, "Mommy, I didn't pee on Santa's lap!" Phewwwwww!
