Does anyone know what day the pools will open on this year?

The pools open Saturday May 28th. Pool hours are as follows
Community center pool is open 12pm to 9pm Weekends only until June 18th then is it open 12 to 9 daily. Southernwalk pool is open 11am until 8pm on the weekends and 4pm to 8pm during the week until June 18th when it is open 11 to 8 daily. Summerbrooke pool is open 10am until 8pm daily.

When should we expect to get our pool passes?

 

I got mine already...a few weeks ago.

 

You should have already gotten the information packet that contains your stickers for last years passes and a form to fill out if you lost or need additional passes. If you are the owner of the property and have not recieved your packet contact Maureen Burns at the Nature center 703 729 9714. If you are a renter you need to contact the owner they should have recieved the packet and need to sign over pool priveleges to you. Once you complete the form it will take about 2 weeks to get your passes. You need to have the forms to the nature center by Friday the 13th to have them in time for opening day

While we're on the topic, I am surprised that the pools don't open until 10 or 11. I know I don't fit the typical neighborhood demographic--childless adult with free time during the week-- but it would be nice to be able to go for a swim before the day is in full swing and it starts getting hot. I imagine there are cost/logistics issues involved, but it's something to think about.

There is an early morning adult swim. It has been on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 6am to 8am at the community center pool. It will probably be the same again this year but we are considering either moving it to Southernwalk or just adding a day at Southern walk pool so people can swim long course. Anyone who is interested in swimming long course (50meter laps) let me know so I can judge intrest before it is decided one way or another.

I wanted to clarify on pool passes: If you already filled out your form to get new passes this year the passes have not yet been mailed. All completed applications will be mailed this Friday MAy 13th. So everyone should be getting them sometime next week IF you already filled out your form.

Pool passes will be mailed on May 13th to everyone who has already submitted an application to the HOA Office. Any applications received after the 13th will be turned around as quickly as possible.

Did anyone get their pool pass ? I returned my application as soon as I received it out (way before May 13th ) but still we did not receive the actual pass ??

 

We received our passes on Friday (5/13).

 

If you havn't received it by now, call the HOA office.
