I'm excited to introduce myself to the Broadlands community! My name is Sara Matzek, of Sara Matzek Photography. I am a lifestyle portrait photographer. What that means is that I strive to comfortably and patiently capture you and your family naturally, there are not any forced poses, stiff, fake backgrounds and you will never hear me say "cheese". I shoot on location, no hot studio lights. We find a great location, be it the park, your home, at your child's football game, or cheerleading...we look for opportunities for great portraits that you and your family will love!

I would love to hear from you!

Please visit me at www.saramatzekphotography.com, make sure to visit my blog for sneak peaks of recent sessions.

    Talk to you soon!

I might be interested in doing a mini session w/ my two year old, but I am not sure if it is a good idea. She is a very sensitive kid, takes some time to warm up, can be clingy. Can you give me an idea how you might approach this kind of kid?

Hi Pam, Thanks for the reply. In a word, patiently. The key to kids that might be a bit nervous, or scared, or just plain shy is that we need to take some time to get to know each other. You'd be amazed at how 10 minutes of fun and games can get kids comfortable. In some cases I have brought my 2 year old along, this make the session a play date, not anything intimidating. So, there are some options. I think you'd find that your little one would do just fine....

I hope to hear from you! Feel free in calling me to discuss further.

    Happy Halloween!

    Sara
