Private Music Lessons

I am a former Fairfax County Band Director who now teaches privately from home. I have over 14 years of teaching experience. I currently have openings for this coming school year. I offer lessons on all band instruments. Please contact me if you need further information.

What ages? What do we do about instruments? I tried contacting Minion's and didn't get a response. I'm looking for guitar lessons for my 7 year old. Guitar or piano. He's mentioned both. I would be interested in getting more information.

 

I actually teach the band instruments (flute, clarinet,oboe, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, tuba). If your son is interested in any of those, I can definitely help you out! If not, Minion's or Music and Arts are your best bets. Let me know!

Kaos girl works at Mintons. they do have lessons, but do not sell most instruments. I think I've seen a few guitars and maybe a drum set. They've exapnded into another space now. If you want instruments and music, you'll find that at Music and Arts.

Koas girl has taken lessons from Melissa for 5 years. KG has her own instrument as we bought her one after she was in middle school band. Most often we buy music books that Melissa wants at www.sheetmusic.com she also works with KG on her school band music as well.
