I am seeking a provider to help me with my 2 young boys - Ben (he turned three in September) and Andrew (he turned 2 last month). While my boys do not have any major developmental delays they have been seeing an occupational therapist for sensory integration disorder. So, I am looking for a provider who has extra patience and/or an the desire to work with special needs children... Below are some details on the requirements we are looking for.

I am pregnant with my 3rd son due at the end of March. I am a stay at home mom and work from home part-time as a photographer as well. I will be needing extra help to watch my two toddler boys before and after the baby is born. The work would be at my home in Leesburg. We are looking for a nanny/mother's helper to start as early as possible. I am looking for someone to assist Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday mornings (around 8:30-12:30) but have some flexibility on days/times. Primarily I would like this person to help keep Ben and Andrew occupied/entertained while I tend to the newborn. I would also like this person to accompany me if I want to take the boys to the library, Tumbles class, etc. Primary responsibilities would include getting the boys dressed for the day, preparing snacks and lunches, taking them outside for walks/play time (when weather permits), creative play, and getting them ready for nap. My boys are very energetic so this person would need lots of energy and patience for their spirited personalities ;-) We would like this person to start ASAP with a commitment through May of 2011 with the potential for more hours this summer or follow on work after that.

Please let me know if this opportunity suits your schedule and interest! Thank you! lisasinclair@gmail.com

My neighbor just hired a nanny through College Nannies. Their nanny will pick the boys up from the bus stop after school, do homework, and play with them until the parents get home. The hours are strictly part-time (maybe 2:45-6) M-F and they only pay the days when they use the services. Like, if they stay home one day, they only pay for 4 days of service that week. The nannies are put through a background check and all that good stuff and the parents interview as many candidates as they want.
