Public Input for Park Name - Gavin Rupp Mem. Park?

The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services is asking for public input to name 3 new parks. One of them is the park at the intersection of North Star Blvd and Belmont Ridge Road, north of Briar Woods High School. It is the one with 6 baseball fields, 2 football fields and a soccer field. If your kids have played in DLL, they may have played there.

I think a good name for that park would be Gavin Rupp Memorial Park. Since he loved baseball, was a big part of DLL and the greater community, and would have attended Briar Woods, I think it would be nice for that park to be named in his honor.
