Putting the C in Cashburn?

Am I going loosing it or does the new sign on the big green building behind the Circle K read "CASHBURN" Medical Center? Was it vandalized, or is someone really serious about naming it this?

 

You may be losing it, but let's talk about the new Medical Center. [)]

I thought the same thing when I first saw the sign. And we aren't the only ones (from the "Shopping plaza at Chickacoan/Truro Parish" thread):

 

We sure are going to earn our nickname with a sign like that. The next thing that will happen if this trend continues is that the signs coming into the community will be changed to "Badlands".

 

I've lived in Ashburn since 1988.......The CASHBURN nickname has been around for years and I hate to say it - but it's true!!! Establishments/food/services are always higher.....but just about everything is in N. VA....housing is out of control...sure feel sorry for people from other areas that have to move year....talk about sticker shock!!!

 

I think it's actually a logo - and it's in the shape of a "C."

I actually thought it was a clock but from the distance it looked like a c. Its actually pretty funny.

 

I got gas at Mobil yesterday and checked it out, I certianly didn't think it looked like a 'C' but it does look out of place...it should be a different color.

 

Cashburn, Badlands? Too funny! My sincere hope is that the Fab 5 come do a make-over of the entire Mobil shopping center. If there has ever been a building that needs a "Queer Eye for the Straight Building" make-over, that one is it. The designer and the person who chose the mis-matched colors both need to get pimp-slapped.

 

The colors are fine and I'll go one further and suggest that those that think this is an issue to get all excited about should seek some form of professional help.

 

The colors are fine??? Please! They clash, pure and simple. I sure do pity the people living across from that Frankenstein-like building.
