Anyone have a local Ashburn restaurant recommendation besides Clyde's for a party of 12? I'm looking for a place where perhaps there's a small side room or corner area where it isn't loud so we can all chat an enjoy eachothers' company? I don't usually like going out with such a big group but this started out as a smaller group that has grown in size.

    Any cuisine is fine.

    Thanks!

parallel wine bistro- awesome small plates and great wine/beer menus

travinia in village at leesburg- can be kind of loud though

finnegans in leesburg- excellent food, not sure about loudness

firebirds in village at leesburg- any more than 15 and the party is too large, wonderful food

cafe opera- wonderful asian cuisine from different countries and delish cocktails

The restaurant at the 1757 Golf Club might be worth consideration.

Caliente in Brambleton has a small private room upstairs, you may be able to make arrangements to use. My guess is comfortably for 10-20 people, about.

Travinia's in Leesburg has the private table in the wine room. It's separated by glass from the rest of the restaurant, so you still feel like you are part of the restauarant but with the privacy.

I would recommend Amvrosia Restaurant. It's a nice size restaurant that can handle big parties and they have a nice variety if food, from pizza, pasta, subs and Greek food.

I'm adding caliente to this list. haven't been in years because it was horrible.went back monday and its done a180! fresh warm chips, delicious salsa, spicy not salty, and the food was great, tasty empanadas, tender carne asada.new manager, ownership changes new and menu, its definitely not the old caliente. upstairs has a private room good for parties.

disclaimer, they are a client of mine but as with all of my opinions, I am sharing this review as a neighbor and get no benefit from it...
