restaurant rumor?

    2 people asked me today if I knew about an Outback Steakhouse and Glory Days Grill coming to Broadlands.
    I know nothing about it. Anybody else?
    While I'm asking, how about the Target rumor at the Home Depot?

    Haven't heard that one, but I did get a phone call survey a few days ago asking a lot of questions about what skeathouses I like to go to.....

    An employee in Blockbuster confirmed the Outback Steakhous rumor, if that's a solid resource.

    Spoke to the owner of Radiance Day Spa and he heard there was a steakhouse going in but didn't know if it was a nationally known chain or a "mom and pop" type restaurant.

    out of curiosity, I sent an email to Outback. Reply stated they had no plans on opening a restaurant in Ashburn, but will continue to review the demographics of the area. Must be another steakhouse . . .

    This peaked my curiosity as well and I emailed Glory Days Grill. I got a response back from their President and he stated that they are in PRELIMINARY discussions to open a restaurant in Broadlands. Here is an exerpt from his e-mail:

    We have just recently begun preliminary discussions for a site adjacent to the Greenway in the Ashburn/Broadlands area. Hopefully, we can all agree to the required terms and a Glory Days Grill could open there next year. In the interim, our Sterling, Reston or Gainesville locations will welcome you.


    I hope this pans out! What a great place to watch football games! :)
