This looks to be an 'inside' job - house was being sold/moved into, but scary nonetheless...

Loudoun County, VA: Four Maryland men have been charged in connection with an overnight burglary that occurred in Ashburn, Virginia.

Around 1:30 a.m. on November 20th Loudoun Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 43290 block of Atherton Street for a reported burglary in progress. Deputies arrived on the scene to find signs of a burglary. Items removed from the home included two large screen televisions and a video game system. The residence was unoccupied at the time of the burglary.

Patrol Deputies canvassed the area and located a suspicious vehicle in the area of Waxpool Road and Loudoun County Parkway. A traffic stop was initiated and four occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody.

After an investigation by members of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s office Criminal Investigations Division Giovanni Flores-Portillo, 27, of Rockvlle, MD, Dwayne Russ Peyton, Jr., 20, of Oxon Hill, MD, Devon Andre Sokol, 21, of Oxon Hill, MD, and Luis Manuel Dominguez, 22, of Oxon Hill, MD, were all charged with grand larceny and burglary. Peyton faces an additional charge of possession of burglarious tools.

All four suspects were being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

Interesting that there was no mention of the property being recovered. Is that just a given?

I didn't think it was a proper word. Looked it up, to my surprise it is.
