Soccer (pickup)

I was wondering if anyone is up for pickup soccer in the school next to the tennis courts. The school has several fields. we could use the softball goals or just use bags and .. as mini goals. Saturday and Sunday are the best days, however i could still make it after 6 on weekdays. we could even play tomorrow.

if we get atleast 8 people it should be enough for a decent game

I wouldn't mind a little weekend fussball....but I haven't played since high school, over 12 years ago, and even then I wasn't that great. But, if you guys get desperate and could use out-of-shape fullback, let me know....

P.s. Anyone have a bar of choice to watch the WC at where there are actually fans? Deutschland in 06'!!!

 

The only decent places I know of around here are closer in to DC - Summers (sp?) in Arlington is especially popular- couldn't get a seat in 2002 when the US was playing in the quarterfinals.

I tried Champions in Leesburg for the first US match this year, and there were maybe 50-60 people there. Pretty lame, if you ask me.

If we ever play a pick-up game of soccer, it'd be great to have you- the more the merrier.

ps- I'm a striker/wing by nature.
