Tampering with Mailboxes

    Today I found a homemade ad for Jack's bike shop taped to the front of our mailbox obstructing the mailman's entry to the box. I tried to get a phone number for the individual to let them know that tampering with mailboxes such as blocking the entry as was done is inconsiderate and illegal. If anyone knows who Jack Hooker is, I'd appreciate if they could let him know this so it does not happen again. I'm sure it was done with all the best of intentions but we did not appreciate it.

    Could this have been part of last nights vandalism? Are you in Overland Park? We had a lot of pranks occur overnight.

    No; We're in Southern Walk. I've seen these signs all over the street but to my knowledge, ours was the only mailbox on our street which was covered with the sign.

    The vandalism is a real shame. :(
