The King and I - July 27-29, Aug 3-5, 10-12

A local community theater company, the Sterling Playmakers, is putting on "The King and I" on July 27, 28, 29 and August 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, and 12. Shows on Friday and Saturday nights are at 8pm and Sundays are at 2pm. It's in the auditorium of Park View High School in Sterling.

Eagle Ridge's choral director, Cristin Williamson, stars as Anna. Also, my daughter is a princess in it, so I've seen a lot of rehearsals, and you won't be disappointed.

I saw this show tonight and it was really good. I wasn't sure what to expect from a community theater but was pleasantly surprised by the caliber of the production. The main leads, especially the person who plays Anna were excellent. According to the program she is a chorus teacher at Eagle Ridge. If you enjoy musicals would recommend you check this show out.
