First of all, I went out to visit the Bald Eagle nest in Leesburg and am pretty sure she's sitting on eggs. I was there for an hour and she was sitting, pretty as you please in the nest. Then, on the way home, on the corner of Claiborne and Vestals Gap, I saw THREE bald eagles flying overhead! What a sight to behold.

Awesome. I don't know what it is about bald eagles but they have cult status in my book.:bow::bow:

There is also a great live video cam of nesting eagles at the Norfolk Botanical Garden. The mom and pop are sitting on three eggs and they should hatch any day now. The site is great and I believe it is on 24/7. You can post questions there. Staff from the Virginia Dept of Game and Fisheries answers questions and classrooms visit the site often.

Check it out. My kids love it.

To see lots of eagles locally make a trip to Mason Neck park just north of Woodbridge.
