Wandering Chocolate Lab

    I live on Vestals Gap Drive and chocolate lab was seen behind the homes which adjoin the common area (up near Glebe View Drive).

    Tried to get a look at it .....no id tag but did have a dog license. The dog seemed to be friendly and was submissive (rolled on back and wanted a tummy rub). I tried to get the license number but it grabbed my hand and clamped down with some pressure (no broken skin). No barking, growling or bearing teeth and it did seem very hot and tired....the dog just seemed nervous being lost. Then he/she jumped up and ran off (behind the homes) towards Glebe View Drive.

    Hopefully the owner checks the board. I will be calling animal control.
