Wanted: Used Car

I'm in the market to buy a safe, dependable car in good condition for my daughter for a Christmas present. Looking to spend $6k to $8k. Will pay with cash.

 

I have a friend selling her car - she lives in Ashburn. Here is her description of the car. One problem though is that they need the car until Dec 27 - they are moving out of the country on the 28th.

The car is a 1996 Toyota Camery, white, 106,000 miles, we just put all new brake pads on all the brakes, new struts, and a new timing belt. It has power windows, locks, AM/FM cassette radio, tan cloth seats. We are asking $5,500.

Glad I checked here! Just getting ready to take my 2002 Dodge Intrepid to Carmax to sell it, but would rather be able to help out a neighbor! It's a really great car. Very clean, all maintenance completed, runs great. If you want a car that's safe, especially driving in this area, this car has a little more heft to it, which I like. Checked with local dealers--SRP is anywhere from $6,750-$7,200. Would take $5,500 for it, and even deliver it with a full tank of gas, washed, cleaned and fresh oil change. Just let me know.
