Hi - I know there are some people in Broadlands who work in the paper business. Can anyone help me out?

I'm helping my sister with wedding invitations and plan to buy pretty, high quality paper and print them myself. The plan is to get them out in the mail within the next week, wedding is in April. We don't have a lot of time!

I found some invitations that I loved at Zazu, an Anna Griffin style that now appears to be discontinued. I would like to know places within driving distance that I can call to find out if they have a few boxes of this style - I have one available and need four more, total of 40 pieces. I am also willing to go back to the drawing board if someone around here has 40 in-stock of something comparable. I already looked at what they have at Michaels and AC Moore and their do-it-yourself kits did not appeal to me, wanted something higher-end. Any help will be much appreciated!

If this doesnt pan out for you, I used Rexcraft for my wedding invitations. They shipped very fast, just a thought :)

I know you mentioned that you are not interested in the kits, but the last time I was in target they had some really nice paper stock inside the invitation kits. I don't remember how much it cost though.

Thanks - Target was one place I did not try. I ended up finding a combination of papers between Dandelion Patch and Paper Source in Reston Town Center. Now I have a little work to do assembling them but they'll be beautiful! In the process I also checked out the Papery in Brambleton and they have tons of great stationery and printables plus a huge selection of notecards. Great store and nice people.

I know GAM Printers is a good printer and they do a lot to support the region. I don't think it's helpful for you at this point though, and not sure if they do wedding invitations or not.

We made ours on a laser printer using cream-coloured 5 X 8 index cards and a beautiful font from one of those 1000 font cds. Everyone wanted to know where we'd gotten them done!!!

RSVP cards were made from cream-coloured 3 X 5 index cards. Same font.

I think there is a really nice paper company near the new movie theatres.

Yes, that's the Papery in Brambleton. I recommend it! Great notecards, thank you cards, and party invitation paper, helpful staff.
