Where to go for Christmas Weekend?

    I want to take my wife and 10 month old on a weekend outing for the weekend after Christmas, 12/26-12/28. The only stipulation is that it needs to be within driving distance from Virginia Beach.

    I was thinking a B&B either on the Outer Banks or the Eastern Shore but I don't know if the space will be too close quarters for a 10 month old.
    If we did go to either of those places what could we do during the day times and where would be a great place to eat.

    Any suggestion would be great and much appreciated.:)

    I would go to Sandbridge or the outerbanks. Vacation rentals should be very cheap that time of year. You might get lucky and get high temperatures in the 60's.
