Why isn't our suburbs not in Top 100 best places to live in US?

    Except Reston, which is 43rd.

Is it because it hasn't grown yet? Or not generating enough money? or not enough population?

Any idea? Just a friendly debate...

What list are you looking at? What are the 'parameters' used to build the list?
Not much to discuss if we don't have access to the data you are looking at and how the list was built...

Eliminate cities with low education scores, high crime rates, absurdly high housing costs, declines in employment or income less than 90% of the state median. Remove bedroom communities and places where people identify themselves as being from a smaller locale within the area.

Who wants to be on one of those lists?

It's better to remain a "secret" (as far as living in the nation's fastest growing county can be called a secret).

Parameters are all. The year Loudoun was the fastest growing county (now has dropped below 4th, I think), Los Angeles County added more people than LIVE in Loudoun, but didn't make the fastest growing list at all.

Why? Because the calculation was based on percentage, i.e. Loudoun is so much smaller, it added the largest percentage increase of its smaller population.

LA Co addded more people than lived here LoCo, but is so much larger it wasn't even a blip on their screen.
