We're looking to get blinds/shades for our house and was wondering if anyone had recommendations on where to go. The most common and competitive places seem to be Next Day Blinds and Blinds To Go but it will be good to get referrals or recommendations.

    Thanks!

I don't think that this posting should be under this thread, but just wanted to let you know our experience.

We went to Blinds-to-Go and got a price -- Next Day Blinds would actually have been a little more, but knocked $100 off the competitor's price, when we brought in the estimate. You can also look into JC Penney's and Home Depot/Lowe's.

Per their website, Next Day Blinds provides "extensive professional training for all installers in their own facilities and holds each technician to rigorous standards of professionalism and conduct". Excellent customer service. They're very accomodating with scheduling the measurement/installation of your blinds, whereas if you go through a place like Home Depot, they tend to not show up on time/not call and bring in whoever's around to install the blinds (not trained).

I agree - we got our blinds from Next Day Blinds as well. Wonderful customer service and installation. Also - lifetime warranty if something doesn't work right - they come out and repair.
