I saw a sign at the intersection of broadlands blvd. and clairborne saying that the bonefish grill was supposed to open on January 31. I was wondering if it has opened yet and if it has, has anyone been there?

I've gone onto their website and noticed that other bonefish grills take reservations. Do you know if this one accepts reservations and how are the prices, although I would expect the prices to be comparable to other restaurants in the area?

They do take reservations and the pricing reflects the quality of their food.

    Any info on 321 Ashland?

Nothing on 321 Ashland, but from it looks like they've got the interior done.

BTW ... Bonefish Grill offers 'call ahead seating' not reservations. They are a division of the company that owns Outback which also has 'call ahead'.

Also, if you know of anyone who has a GLUTEN allergy, they offer a gluten-free menu !!

You better double check. I called Bonefish Monday afternoon and they took my reservation. They even mentioned that they only accept three reservations for every 30-minute block. When I arrived Monday night, I was listed in their reservation book. I did not see anything regarding ‘call ahead seating.’ The place was not as busy as I thought it might be for an opening night. No reservation was needed.

Ate there last night - service was good, they were taking reservations but the pork chops were pretty tough.

Just ate there tonight ~4:15 and we LOVED it... much better than the so-so steak place next door in our opinion..

It's at the top of our list for restaurants now.. mmm

Interesting ... they're working it differently than the one that's in Centerville then.

I could eat seafood every night of the week but, alas, with the wife allergic to shellfish I hardly ever get to enjoy any. Someone please tell me the steaks are decent and the place doesn't reek of seafood....(I should assume the steaks are good as they are a sister co. of Outback).

I think I'm going to wait until they get the parking lot paved around the restaurant before visiting. I tried driving around there - it's like a war zone.

321 Ashland will be open by the end of February. It is a fine dining restaurant. It will also have outdoor seating in the summer months. For those that wonder about the name, 321 is the owners wife's birthday, and Ashland comes from "Ash"burn and Broad"land".

Bravo pizza will be similar to Sbarro....in addition to pizza items it will have a cafeteria-style hot bar. Don't know when they plan to open.

Get all this info and more by coming to the meeting tonight!

Cliff - for those that can not attend due to other obligations, will the information be posted anywhere (ie forums and/or newsletter)?

Hopefully someone will be taking notes for the newsletter. They are looking for volunteers.

Our trip to BoneFish Grille -

Over all an 9 out of 10. It's nice to find a place that will just grill your fish, plain and simple if you like.

Service was good - though it seemed like a lot of wait staff were loitering around. Probably because it was only the second week or so.

My one peeve: Lose the straws. Straw in my water glass, straw in the iced tea. What's with the straw craze. It's a "nice" restaurant - keep the straws for the kids' drinks - and for those that ask for them. Otherwise, it loses something for me.

We've been twice. Love it but last time my chicken (YES chicken in a seafood place) wasn't cooked all the way. So I waited, and waited, while everyone else finished their meals. Another waiter came by to ask what was up & I said I'd sent it back, he got me soup and made my waitress come out to give me an update. They did make me a brand new one.

And I disagree about the straws. I'd rather have them, I hate having to ask for them, I never notice they're not in the glass until I try to take a drink, then I have to flag someone down.
