Developer/HOA update meeting

I know the school board has canceled any after school activities that require a school bus, but we have not yet rescheduled this update.

I'm trying to reach Wes Schroeder, but his phone line is tied up !!

Don't forget, this is Virginia. My gosh!!!!! An unanticipated inch of snow!!!! Shut down the city, abandon the schools, stay off the roads!!!!!

 

...and please remember to load up the minivan with bread, milk, and toilet paper. Leave nothing on the store shelves!!

 

Yea - I'm originally from Buffalo, NY. We've lived here since 1984...still can't get used to it around here when it snows or even with the prediction of snow and everyone freaks! I still have my "snow genes".

 

I just want to thank those homeowner members of the HOA who came out last night. We had a nice sized crowd for the weather (heh heh), and alots of good information was passed out.

For those who missed this update, there will be a synopsis in next month's newsletter.

And congratulations to the two lucky homeowners who won $45 gift certificates to Bonefish Grill.

Harris Teeter is coming late 2006! That's the big thing I heard.

 

To Broadlands? I know they're planning a store in Brambleton.

 

Yes, Broadlands! There will be 4 Harry Teeters in Ashburn within the next 18 months.

 

I guess that means along Wynridge??? That will be great!

 

That's correct, should be opening sometime next year. There are also locations for two restaurant (fast food) pads, a stand alone drug store (please let Walgreens realize we need competition), and the usual shopping center type buildings.

Neilz - thanks for the update - I was stuck in traffic on the Beltway thanks to the panic during the snowstorm
BTW - I sent Walgreens a note encouraging them to look into the site.

 

I'm still pulling for a Barnes and Noble somewhere around here.

 

I heard there will be a Barnes & Noble in the retail center they're building by Wegmans
