New post office

I would have thought the Post Office counter over in the Global Foods would have sufficed, but I noticed the address is actually in the 20147 zip.

 

My family owns a post office in North Carolina. They basically say "Would you like to rent to the postal service" and if you say yes. THEY dictate the terms of the lease. We are in the process of selling it and potential buyers have been AMAZED how tenant friendly the lease is. The nice thing is you get a check on-time, every month. My grandmother always said you could set your clock by the Post Office check.

So in that sense. Saul probably gave them what they wanted.

 

I was also told Saul was confronted about bringing in a competitor to one of their current lease holders. The answer: "we need to fill the space".

Well isn't that special. Short term gain for long term pain. The good news is I doubt the USPS site will give Postal Masters much competition. The hours for the USPS is ridiculously limited. Postal Masters offers competition on price and choices on service, and Postal Masters keeps a database of all your ship to addresses which is very convenient.

 

If you can ever find someone to handle your mail at that desk. The "gone to lunch" sign seems to be up whenever I pay a visit! I would hang around and wait but I can't stand the smell in Global Foods so I'm outta there pronto.

 

Well, I for one, will continue to use Postal Masters. The owner has always been great!

Haha, you have a point. Although I will have to say it was nice mailing some Christmas boxes from there. In and out in about 5 minutes.

 

ditto customer service at postal masters is wonderful, and the owners generously support the community. I'm a fan and customer for life!

 

If you rent a PO Box from the USPS at this location, do you get a street address or just a PO Box number?
