We have printed and distributed approximately 5800 passes. There are over 3000 residences, but we do not have an accounting of how many individuals live in each house. Also, many members never apply for a pass.

You could walk in any time next week Mon to Fri 9 to 4:30. We will no longer be scheduling appointments after this week, all photos will be taken on a first come first serve basis during regular business hours.

No evening or sat hours for photos anymore for procrastinators who work and don't get home until 5:30?

Not to be a poop or anything about this, but why should the staff have to give up their evening or saturday when we all had MONTHS to get this done...and the staff bent over backwards to make it easy?

FWIW ... when I was there, the staff bent over backwards to assist the residents, they have a thankless job in many cases, and often get the brunt of resident's anger and frustrations.

The HOA was very lucky when it was able to hire Wes, then Maureen and the part-time staffers you have now.

no one was testy. occasionally we get sick of the selfish, entitlement mentality that pervades our community...that's all. :)

Well - you don't know the reason why we didn't get our pool passes sooner - you only assumed...... There was a very good reason why we didn't do it earlier. One thing I am not - is self absorbed.

    groovy with me.

it wasnt meant as a personal slam, only a general comment that just because someone "procrastinated" (your words, not my assumption) doesn't mean someone else should be inconvenienced.

    enjoy your weekend...and the pool!

tyger... take a look at your post and how the word "procrastinator" might have reasonably been associated with yourself. I think the quickness to pounce happened both ways. But Silence, you read that the same way I did...

I don't have last year's guest pass. I have my new photo version but didn't think to ask about the guest access while I was there. Was a new one issued or is 'walk-up' accepted?

This year the guest passes are attached to your account. After you sign in tell the gate gaurd that you have a guest and they will deduct 1 from your account. Each Broadlands family get 10 guests per season. If you need additional guests after the 1st 10 the you can go to the nature center to purchase more. After the 1st ten you can buy an additional 10 for $20 (resident price).

    Procrastinators Rejoice!

For all those folks who didn't make it in to get their pool passes on one of the many Saturdays we had available...the Nature Center will be open for pool pass photos this Saturday, June 23, from 9 am to 1 pm, no appointment necessary. If you are over 18, don't forget to bring your photo ID (a driver's license works fine) and proof of address - if the address on your photo ID does not show your current address. This could be your last chance! Procrastinate no more!
