Looks like Liquid Nails. Not the right color for Gorilla.

AND there is is a series of honey dipping holes in the wall about 3 inches above where the bottom of the cabinet was.

So, does this mean you are going to add support studs in the wall to attach the new cabinet? Or are you going to glue it and let the next HO find out the hard way?

Rest assured we are having professionals do the installation this time. I have no intention if declaring a successful install and then have the fool thing come crashing down.

And I just have to comment: I am so glad that Brassy and I could add some entertainment to your lives with our cabinet adventures. Tune in next month for Thermostat Relocation Mayhem!

I took extensive notes, so I know what to look for when we renovate our kitchen. Really. I did. I promise I did not laugh at all. Well, not much.

I don't get much entertainment around here, I appreciate that I get to live through you vicariously.

Oh you got to love it a husband and wife that actually work together as a team :) I do find it interesting and appropriate that one calls herself a girl :) and the other calls himself a man :) And I think I will leave it at that ;)

Why thank you all so darn much:)

I have to add that when I called Mid-South, who is VM's cabinet vendor and installer, the service mgr was trying to help me with suggestions. I told him I was beginning to think it was glued on, and he indignantly said his company NEVER uses glue...well I guess they have to when the studs are metal and too far apart. The next set to go up over the fridge is 42" wide (with tiny doors!) , so that should not be an issue.
