Stores in Phase III

Does anyone know where we can make requests as to who we would like to see come to the Phase III of the Safeway Plaza?

I would like to push for SimplyBodyandBath.com

If we do get a chance to vote (like we did for Phase I), I will let everyone know!

 

And I'm assuming this is your store, why don't you go ahead and sign a lease...

 

yah, sign a lease...it's not like it's a contest and you have to campaign for anything.

 

I know of no such place ... as someone else here has said, if this is your store, put your money where your mouth is and sign a lease.

As I remember, at one time there was a thread on what Broadland's resident's would like to see in Phase 1 & 2, but it was strictly unofficial. Not sure if it influenced anything anyway

How about another Pizza Place!

 

If someone has a particular store they wold like to see, I would suggest you call the store and advise them of the Broadlands shopping center and call Saul and tell them the type of store you would like to have there.

 

Do we know if this section is going to be similar to Phases I & II, or if there is going to be another large anchor?

 

I doubt there's room on that side behind the bank for another large anchor, I suspect it will be small to medium sized shops and restaurants.

Saul hasn't decided on a configuration yet. The site is too small and oddly shaped for a large anchor, but could fit one or two small ones (like the size of a Marshall's).

 

This would be a GREAT idea. I remember when we voted for what would go into the plaza a few years. I haven't seen this same type of voting scheme for Phase III though. To have a store similar to Bath and Body Works close by would be great. Getting to Dulles Towne Center is getting to be a long commute. Thanks for the suggestion!

I would only support SBB if it also had a nail salon in it.

 

Kinda like "don't talk to strangers" and "look both ways before crossing the street", "call saul and inquire about a lease" is a tip we ALL should know.

You're dealing with fairly bright people here, we can see through your ruse.

 

making enemies in the neighborhood you want to open your store is not the smartest way to launch your new business. please reply under a new name, that will make it more fun.

I just noticed a banner in the window of the unit next to Bravo Pizzeria for a smoothie/juice bar called "Robeks". Looks like it is a franchise. Here's a link, http://www.robeks.com

Yeah! This made my day. Finally--something different for us in Broadlands. Robeks is great. They have them on the west coast.
No good for the Atkins people, though!
