Then why would HCA close theirs?

I'm not sure that Dang is really Dang. That name is pretty ironic. Imagine what the parents saw when he was born to name him that.

So you're relying on politically motivated "professionals" to make your decisions for you. Just because the "state" determines something, doesn't make it true.

Very clever, AFGM! To continue to frame the idea that "the state has determined the need". If they had truly agreed with an immediate and crucial need, they would have approved new beds, not just let them move some existing ones (which, from the article, apparently will be missed at their current location for mental health). Does anyone know the timeframe for the judge to issue his ruling on the appeal of the second COPN? They heard the case a week ago, yes?

Barbara, they did hear the case last week, which went very well and a decision is expected sometime within the next 10 days to 2 weeks is my guess.

Seems the other "professional" that continues to raise an opinion is Donna. Are you going to let her make your decisions for you? Just because "donna" states something doesn't make it true either.

Political motive employer/economic motive depends on how you look at it.

The way I see it the State is the closest to a third party we have in this issue.

Well Donna, at least your consistent. Make a statement and run. How come you don't answer any of the questions that are posed to you here? Need to consult w/your pal Tony Raker? What a joke!

...off subject...did anyone see the Stilson cartoon of Snow in the Leesburg Today about the Mt. Zion mess? I thought that was pretty accurate and funny! :)

Soxfan, I am not going to REPEATEDLY answer a question. It has been answered. I am sorry you choose not to agree with the answer or simply don't like it. I find it amusing how people can be so nasty when they are hiding behind an anonomous name.

You have never answered my question about who funded your letter?

She said once that it was funded by private funds, or that it was sent as a private citizen, or something to that affect.

just drop it ... its getting old.

Actually she has never admitted who funded it. My point is...she constantly posts negative stuff on here about HCA/BRMC yet she is a paid employee of INOVA Loudoun and is using their funds to target the neighborhood but doesn't disclose it.

The other problem is she says all this stuff and tries to infer a lot about BRMC yet doesn't back it up with facts...More accurately, she "takes vacations" to avoid answering. I find that to be a problem. She hides everytime. So Neil...if you don't like reading my posts...don't read them! I want to know what her basis is for most of her claims.

I don't give a rats patootie one way or the other right now, however, my point is ... get off the subject of who funded whatever .. its obvious she's not going to tell you or anyone else.

Let it go, and move on. Its old news, and there are new things happening in this area each and every day. I find that more interesting than something that occurred 3 or 4 months ago.

I don't give a rats patootie what you think either. Her so called "personal" quest to stop this hospital affects me and my family. If she continues to post stuff against BRMC then I'll continue to seek the truth about her real motives for stopping HCA building a much needed hospital.

Again, if you don't like what I'm posting...don't read it Neil!

Soxfan, I have answered the question that seems to keep you up at night. Also I was against this hospital plan for 2 1/2 years before I became an employee of LHC. I also stated on this forum the day after I accepted that position. I have used the same sources for my information and decision to be against this hospital: Newspapers, web searches, speaking with past and present employees, emergency service personnel, Attorneys, doctors, HCA history, etc, etc. This plan affects my family and neighborhood too and I am doing what I think is best for this community. Also, so there is no CONTINUED misunderstanding, LHC has not and is not funding any of my time or resources for anything I do as a resident homeowner who is trying to stop HCA. Where do you live in relation to this proposed hospital site?

Donna, Thank you for finally answering my question. Yes Neil, I'll stop asking. :)

Actually Donna...I live only a few streets away.
