OK folks - it wouldn't be the holidays with out a curve-ball. I just realized I scheduled this happy hour on the same night as my office party. So, how badly does it hurt if we move this up one week to December 7th?

Also - would I get a bigger turnout if I opened the theater to the kids to watch crazy Disney movies?

 

7th is fine with me.

OK, Official Announcement:

The December HH is moved to Friday, December 7th. In order ot increase participation; if you have kids bring them along as I can fire up the theater with crazy Disney videos, Mario Carts or whatevers.

Entre Vous will still be there with Tasty Treats. I'll have some kid friendly juice pouches chilled for the little folk.

I will accept NO responsibility if you get tanked and fall over in front of your kid.

only if the party is at 4AM on the 7th- my surgery is at 7:30am on the 7th!! but thanks for thinking of me! wish i could be there to share wine with you again- that was FUN.

I notice that not many people have RSVP'd, online at least, for Kaosdad's generous offer to open up his home for a unique HH event.

Come on people, don't be shy. This HH sounds like it can be real fun and a great way to meet some of your fellow Broadlanerianites. No excuses this time about staying home with the kids since you can bring them!

And the food is catered to boot!

 

for those of you who haven't been- it really is a unique experience! our neighborhood is full of quirky characters who are not nearly as homogenized as one might THINK your typical HOA forum junkie would be! many of us in here are people might not otherwise meet socially- and you'd be surprised at what you find in common with people!

just LEAVE your circle of friends for an hour or so and meet your neighbors! we don't bite- - well- T8 bites, but only upon request and payment up front... lol

Yes, please folks - right now I have maybe 7 folks who have said they'll be there, which will make the energy level kinda low. And I am SO upset that Redon won't be there!!!

So, please, even if you can just swing by for an hour or so, I'd love to show off my bar!!! The door opens at about 5:30 and I gots nowhere to be the next day.
