For a store that is supposed to be big on Organic food... they do not stock organic milk!

Look harder - they carry it. It's not with the regular milk. Try one of the "Nature's Marketplace" aisles. I've purchased it already.

I visited Wegmans for the first time today and I'll be going there from now on. I was very impressed by the organic foods and produce section rivalling Whole Foods and Trader Joes (of course they stock organic milk - there's a refrigerated cabinet in the organic foods section. Just bought some eggs there today. ) Really like the international section although they don't have Marmite from UK, maybe it's in another section. In general the prices were much lower than SafeGiantLionShopper. And for once the seafood department didn't smell - Giant seafood area stinks meaning fish isn't very fresh.

Loved it! It is what Giant and Safeway needed! It took me two hours, but it was worth it. The variety is amazing and the produce is so fresh! I was impressed with the way they provided other food store's prices.

Can anyone that has shopped at other Wegmans confirm that the prices are going to stay as low as they are or if it is part of their way to get us hooked?

    Thank you

jaeris - I know they have either Marmite or Vegemite. I think it was in the aisle with baking goods or spices.

BelindaTH - We know someone that's worked for them for a few years that said they regulary check prices at the local competitors to keep theirs low/competitive. They also said that if they don't have something you regularly buy, tell them at customer service and they are likely to carry it - they don't want you going anywhere else....
