Ashburn/Broadlands Exit 6 from Greedway

I noticed the new lights being put up this week. How long do you suppose it will take to activate them, considering the lights at Shellhorn are *still* not on??

 

I was thinking yesterday as I was sitting in the long line of cars at the four way stop at Shellhorn....what IS the holdup with this light????? I really won't be happy if the light at the Greenway gets turned on first.

 

I was wondering that too - I had to go that way for the first time in a while yesterday. What is up with one lane going straight and its the lane that has left turns from it too. Makes no sense.

 

I hear it is an issue with getting the right-of-way easement through Chipotle's.

The power for the lights at the Greenway is already there.

 

Ah, but will they be turned on?

 

ALL the lights on Claiborne after Hay road and heading twords the Hospital were started & energized after the light at Shellhorn. Why doesn't VDOT just condemn the land and take the right of way?

Oh, right, I forgot - no one's been critically injured there yet.
