My comment was not political, and it was not a conspiracy theory. The stones-in-the-yard thread was indeed unlocked, then locked, then unlocked again. All I stated was a simple chronology. That simply could not bother a reasonable person, unless there is something more to the issue. If so, please enlighten me or, otherwise, I consider this a non-issue.

Exactly, Kaosdad. Some people are a bit too uptight.

Live and let live, and leave the politics to the proper thread.

Note that he/she said "fighting" and not "discussing." That appears to show what this user is really after.

In my experience, adults can have conversations, while whiny kids resort to bickering, name-calling, and verbal fights.

Hey kettle, call anyone a "radical right-wing extremist" lately? And as for whining, there is not enough cheeze in Wisconson to go with the amount of whining you post!

OH, it is also polite to answer direct questions in a conversation, not ignore the ones you don't like or can't spin to your pleasure(?).

This does seem to be a surprisingly touchy subject for a "rumor" that has been circulating around the area for some time...

Here, here! Some people seem to have a pretty violent reaction. I mean a reporter asked a question, and this is how the community reacts. It's like someone stomped on an ant hill.

    T8erman,

Please take your political attacks to another thread or somewhere else on the web and stop hi-jacking this thread as noted by Mr. Linux above:

My last post was directly involved with "swinging". You avoiding the question?

And it is not your job to act as an Admin. Admins require tact, sensibility and a firm resolve. None of which you seem to have.

(Ok REAL Admins, I am done in this thread).

If he's referring to me locking the thread in the rules forum, I already mentioned:

"Thing is, I locked the thread because I thought sex swingers is not a topic that should be discussed on an HOA community website that children read. Others have different views, and the rules are not something 100% set in stone on where a line is drawn. At this point, as Mr Linux mentioned in the other thread, if you all want to discuss the whole subject further feel free to start up a new thread or discuss it here."

Thread is unlocked. I apologize for locking it. You can talk about swinging until you get your rocks off (haha, ok bad joke). There was no conspiracy, no violent reactions.

So, Sunday past I had to run over to the office. As it was a wonderful day (and I sold the truck off) I took the bike. Coming home I noted the odometer had about 112 miles on it so it was time for some dinosaur juice. I went over to The Sunoco and inspected the Dunkin Donuts progress. MMMMmmmmm.... I can already taste those fresh, hot glazed donuts now.

As I was paying in greenbacks I went into the establishment (The Sunoco, not the Dunkin) and there wera a couple of groups of men if either Indian or Pakistani decent, standing about, drinking very strong coffee (they didn't get THAT from Sunoco) and probablyt discussing the latest cricket match (like I speak Pakistani?????

The quickest way home is through the school. There I saw a few more meals for Boomer's Hawk scurry about and saw the folks taking their church apart. "Isn't it nice," thought I, "that just a few hundred yards apart are a group of Muslims and a group of Christians living in peace and harmony."

As I approached Ridgeway I decided to not turn left and go home, but to make a radical right turn and go exploring. As I puttered up the hill I took time to notice the wide diversity of houses & decorations. Everything from a fully bunting festooned front porch, to an "antiqued" Besty Ross to, what looks like, a Hindi good luck wreath over a front door. Down another side road was a sari clad group of women chatting in the sun.

Again, I marveled at the fact that I could take this little joy ride without the fear of an AK round testing my helmet. I also looked at the various ways in which we have planted and appreciated the HOA we have how they work hard to keep our property values up AND work with the homeowner. Here, the path to getting our new front door approved was Brassey showing a picture to the nice lady in the Nature Center.

As I rumbled through the neighborhood and saw folks out side and wondered "Is that T8terman? Who's that? Silence? Gryph?"

Ah yes, it's a wonderful place. No wonder we rule Living in LoCo.

I walk my pup about an hour a day through Broadlands and see the same thing, Kaos. In our business, we've had Christian, Jewish and Muslim children sitting together at our table eating with us. Children are blissfully innocent and that's refreshing.

A wise old person by the Name of Dr Rodger's from Beaumont Texas who is deceased told me Lee enjoy the differences in people not just the similarities .

My Dad also deceased who traveled the world also in a different way treat all people no matter who they are or where they are from the way you want to be treated.

These are simple sayings but we make things too complex at times.

MMmmm K. The HOA in Ashburn Farm was one of the most opressive I have ever seen. We literally could not plant flowers int he yeard without the express written permission of the HOA. Additionally, when I asked them to to help me with a very severe safety issue that was being caused by Richmond America's refusal to act, they also refused to react.

I also do not see why I needed permission from the HOA to sell my own home. Now, perhaps things have changed. But for the seven years I leved there it was truly "The People's Republic of Ashburn Farm."

Sorry - I did not mean to infer anything about the actual homeowners who were the victims of the HOA.

FYI the only HOA I've experienced that was MORE opressive was teh Lake Ridge HOA.
